We, as a species, eternally confuse complexity with intelligence. They aren't the same thing. Sometimes intelligent things are simple, like love. Humans need very little to exist - food, water, good shelter and love. Now some might say, "You don't need love!" Do you know what happens to people who don't have love? They die. One way or another, they die. We can feel love like a sixth sense. It is not bound by time or space, you can't weigh it or measure it, but you know it's there. Love heals, love makes us well. So when we say God is love, we mean it. We can feel it. Why fight so hard against love? I just don't get it, how can that motivate a person?

HI! So lovely to see you, you're just in time! The debate teams are just warming up. Today they must focus on the concepts of their beliefs rather than the words and definitions. Here goes!

Chris: "Right, well, the divine spirit is love!"

***Honk. Whack whack opps.***

- "Sorry, Chris, once you use words it isn't a concept anymore, rather like words can't be a table. Try again."

Chris get's up, looks confused, then gives everyone a hug.

- Ping! Well done Chris, now you're getting it!

Raj: ***says nothing*** Get's up and hands out some food.

- Ping! Exellent, that's wonderful, anyone else?

Aalam - ***says nothing*** gets up and fetches people glasses of water.

OK! There you have it, the debate team are unable to argue, now that's a first. Now we must look at their actions and decide who wins!!

***tumble weed***

Wow, turns out at the concept level there's nothing to fight about after all. How dull! If we carry on like this we'd have peace! Oh no, where is the drama in that?

Wow! You're back again, great! Now we can start. The debate team wanted to try the "concepts of different faiths" debate again and so this time they are allowed to bring a silent movie that shows what they believe in. Now, this will be fun! Let's see the bloodshed and war, that always makes a great movie!

***three hours later***

Yawn. Three hours of hugging, laughing, helping people and being nice. I'm gonna puke. No wonder we don't have debates like that. Even the humanitarian atheists didn't cause a ruckus!

Well, come back next week, we'll have some high tension drama to keep you in your seats for those all important adverts!
