emeralds - quotes and descriptions to inspire creative writing
I walked across the empty land. Hopping onto the bridge, I analysed every glinting green gem that sparkled with the reflection of the beautiful blue river that flowed endlessly underneath. I carried on walking toward the gloomy forest. One last glance, I thought to myself. I turned around to look at them shine off the sun. Indeed, they did. They shone and glowed, waving me goodbye and luck.
The emeralds lay cold in my hand, their virescent glow reflected in my green eyes. Making flattering small talk with the seller I began to plan my diversion. In two minutes I'd be away with enough gems to feed us for the winter and this fat merchant would be left with beach pebbles. And they said my magic tricks were useless. If I pull this one off my mis-spent youth will save the village.
