I stepped into the shower, toes flinching as they touched the chilled ceramic floor. My mind was in shreds; I would never get that picture out of my mind. I turned the dial, old and metallic, releasing thousands of lukewarm drops, darkening my hair and trickled down my back. My eyes fell closed over and over, each time showing me the images like photographs ...

She walked leisurely to the shower, steam filling the room as she cut the shower on. She bathed her skin lightly, taking careful notice not to touch the bruises that scattered her body. After her shower was finished and she had slumped into bed, she lay there, reliving the moment over and over.

The water pours down, it drips by my side, as my mind fades into dullness and everything is a foggy illusion. The sensation of the steamy water calms me; it takes my mind of things. All the things I honestly don't care about. It's the water. My mind swirls, and it's like I'm standing under an everlasting waterfall. Ever so beautiful, but it can never last, I know that now.

he was still in shower, when she came into the room. She walked into the shower. Her lips parted as she inhaled deeply, the site was a turn on for her. The water dripped down his hair softly. And the drops slowly made their way to his body and the perfect abs he had. The water defined his well, organized and obviously worked out body.

Taking a shower = Singing in the shower / Thinking while taking a shower / opening the curtains of the bathtub at the end of the shower and freezing / washing only your head because you don't have time anymore / washing only your body because you don't want to wet your hair for whatever reason /....

I strip down and step slowly into the tub, turning the water on high and letting it beat over my head in steamy rivulets. Closing my eyes to the water as the heat soaks into my skin, I lean against the cool tiles as my weak legs threaten to buckle.
The shower curtain is ripped back and I don't even flinch, engrossed as I was with the water cascading down my body and massaging muscles long past cramped.
"Ciara." Ajax sighs, the exasperation clear in his tone. "What are you doing?"
I crack an eyelid and raise a brow at the same time, watching him. "Standing here."
His concerned eyes flash down my body to the bruises on my knees before flashing back to my face. "Ciara... oh, honey."
I watch him as the water runs over my skin like a caress, how had I fallen in love with this man? This wilily snake that had twined around my own wolf's heart from the first meeting of eyes.
Slowly, I raise a hand and cup his cheek, leaning close to kiss him gently.Feeling his hands glide over my water slick body, pulling me close to him and disregarding the fact that I was naked and wet and he was clothed as pulls me deeper into the kiss.

The pipes moaned like a horror movie ghost before spitting out a dribble of cold water. Pat braced her muscles to stop herself moving out of the stream before she'd soaped and rinsed. This was as good as it got in this old manor house. Posh on the outside, breaking on the inside, just like dear old Mama.

The shower turns on at the press of a button, the perfect pressure and temperature. The new ones are voice command, but I don't want to chat with my shower. Give me silence and running hot water, it's all I want.

Tom's hand falls to the lever and the water begins, so cold at first he almost cries out. Then the stream thickens, warms, steam rises to his aching face. Though the heat brings pleasure the shower is just another function of his regimented day, a necessity before he can tumble into his bed and sleep 'till his next shift.

Every shower was like a movie scene to me and I was the actress. I undo my robe and take it off. I turn the tap on the water starts pouring down like a waterfall from the shower head. I always have to wait for it to get warm and before anything I dip my toe to check the temperature. On good days I turn my phone on for music and sing along as if I'm on a stage. On bad days I crouch down in the shower and shed tears until the water starts turning from hot to lukewarm and to lukewarm to ice cold.
