The lungs of the world had been scarred and eaten away for so long by commercialism that the restoration of creation would take time and effort for decades to come... but if the world wanted to breathe easy and do the right thing... the task needed to start right away. And this was the birth of the global forestry commission, a determined group of nature's doctors.

The forestry commission was an international group, much like the "seals" of the conservation world. They were from all nations and they were the best of the best. They were experts in rewilding who hooked up with local experts, especially natives who knew the land, to make restoration plans. They gave recommendations for usage of the forest that would be both good for the forest and the local population. They were an essential group in the rebirth of earth - a sort of "Avengers" but greener than the hulk.

The forestry commission was established as a branch of the "Guardians of Creation." They took a holistic view of communities and the forests. Additionally they talked with other global bodies and government departments to ensure that the approach for saving Earth was coordinated and fair. Their main partner was the agricultural department that focused on plant genetic resources, food production and fair distribution - after all the rewilding brought organic sources of food that could be sustainably added to the world harvest.

The forestry commission walked in the footsteps of Sir David Attenborough and other leading conservationists. You could see their love for nature in their eyes, that the restoration of Earth was their passion and they would work all of their days to achieve just that, all for nothing but the opportunity to try.

Outdoor jobs and fitness was what everyone wanted and needed in those apocalyptic times, and so the new forestry commission found many willing hands in it's bid to restablish and care for forests. We learned new methods to turn that brush and small trees into new products for sale, the proceeds of which accelerated the conservation work. It was the start of a new relationship with mother nature, learning to live from only what she could afford to give, learning that it was right to give back.
