I invented the homework robot. It's awesome. It teaches you what you actually need to know in a minute or two, tops, then does all the tedious work for you.

The homework robot was a sort of mechanical origami that folded itself into so many forms. When I wanted it to hide it became a picture on the wall, or perhaps a piece of knights armour from days of old. Mostly I asked it to act as if it were a puppy, that was cool, a puppy that did my homework and taught me everything I needed to know in silly songs and adventure stories.

Meg says its a homework app, but its AI is so advanced it feels more like a friend. Plus it can walk, run, hover and fly... so I say it's a robot! It can't do the creative stuff yet, only humans can do that. My brain can weave dreams with pictures, emotions, art and science to come up with things totally new. But for everything else, there is my glorious robot.

The homework robot was the most advanced AI and it looked the same as a real kitten. It could access all the tech in the house, even order food.

Alan popped the sugar cube onto the table; that's what we called the homework robots. They were super sweet and traveled as white cubes.

The first homework robots were made as a rebellion against the tedium of learning what google is better at, to free us to do the creative stuff humans are good at. Soon all the computers were made that way. The only thing is, folks enjoyed them so much they had to have hard coded shut down times so we'd remember to go see other humans.

The homework robot was made of intelligent nano-bot-tech. Just for fun I could throw it to the ceiling and watch it rain down as sparkles of silver. Then it would reform into whatever shape I asked for.
