Sporting a counterfeit smile, I hoped that the awkwardness that bathed the moment would be transient. I swallowed, breathing heavily then, unable to digest defeat in the hands of an unfledged amateur. Roiling in my chair, I turned a blind eye to the paparazzi as the cameras flashed and the questions hurtled at me. It was the epitome of embarrassment!

I walk in to the cafiteria, not knowing what was gonna happen to me until it was too late. Something that smelled like rat poop and death was all over me before I could go back outside and rinse it off, announcing my arrival to everyone in the lunch room. At once, everyone started laughing, pointing fingers, and staring, while I stood there, horrified and beyond embarrassed.
