The notice board was clothed in a flag that had seen many a sunny day, the colours becoming their softer and more homely hues. Upon it were so many potential opportunities, sitting there as if Willy Wonka's golden tickets had been found and pinned there for anyone to take.

The notice board was a sort of static Twitter, yet all the more comforting for how slowly it changed. The opportunities it offered were always evolving, yet slowly so there was a chance to make firm choices, real responses, rather than being swept away with impulsivity.
