It was the most beautiful flower I had ever seen. A blazing mix of red and yellows, it was a natural expression of beauty on fire. Perfection mixed with desire. It jarred me from my darkest thoughts and made me feel alive. The tulip I held in my hand was so delicate, so fragile, I just looked at in in awe. However, I knew, tomorrow it would not be that way anymore.
