Anya had covered herself in jungle formula repellant before bed. She was worried about malaria and there were no nets around the beds as she had hopped for. She knew not many locals had them so she refrained from asking, if they could live here she should be alright for a week. In the morning she knew something was wrong when her eyes would not open. The mosquito's had feasted where the deet did not cover, her eyelids. She strained against the swelling to squint. Enough light came through to indicate that it was morning but the room was no more than patterns of light and dark.
