The audience was a sea of smiles, a chorus of quiet gentle hearts awaiting my beginning.

The audience had come so far to hear what I had to say, to listen, to become uplifted by what I had learned these years past. And so what could I do but rise to the occasion.

There could be an audience of a million strong, I would be okay with that, because the only person's opinion I cared for was my number one fan. So regardless of the glare of the lights or the expanse of the stage, I was always in his arms, always right there in that first moment we looked deeply into each other's eyes and felt that spark of passion. I could stand up and speak to anyone, anywhere in the world and it would be the same as sitting on my couch at home. That's what love can do, it can bring out the strong version of you and shield you from the nonsense the unthinking can cast your way.

Own the stage, make it yours, and they audience will take more emotional journeys with you than they ever could alone. Artist, you are a leader and a healer. Show them how. Do what you do best.
