The man was enormously fat. When he sat down the metal chair disappeared beneath the spread of his buttocks, and Alex was surprised it could even take his weight. He was bald with a black mustache and several chins, each one melting into the next and finally into his neck and shoulders. He wore a pin-stripped suit, which must have used enough material to make a tent.

Her bottom was large and rippled like the topography of a small country viewed from the air.

The janitor had an awkward gait, not that he was lame I don't think, rather his belly got in the way. Once you got over that and raised your eyes to his face it was round and baby-like under a fringe of white hair. I never heard him speak unless it was functional. Not once did he comment of the weather or ask someone how they were. Neither did he volunteer any information about himself. Yet his expression was pleasant, nice even. He had an air of one at ease with themselves. He had jobs to do and he did them, then he went home until his next shift in his little red Skoda. His car perhaps being the only clue to his life outside of the school...

When he finally stopped and flung the door open he seemed to be wedged in. He twisted and jerked one enormous leg out. Then he clasped the edge of the roof with one huge hand and as he heaved the car rocked. When eventually he was free of the car it sprung up so that the front was finally even.

He was so fat that even his chin had chins. They seemed to have a life of their own, wobbling independently as he talked or ate, frequently he did both at the same time.

He was so fat, his belly got in the way when he tried to look down. He had multiple double-chins, and his butt needed two or three seats for him to fit in. When there was a very big crowd, all you needed to do was to walk right behind him. He practically split the crowds. You just needed to prevent yourself from being trampled on by him.
