My name is Charmaine Wallace, I am from the beautiful island of Jamaica. Writing is my passion, it is my way of expressing myself. It is an avenue by which my inner most thoughts, fantasy and passion is revealed and so the world gets to see that hidden side of me. I can get deep when i write, yet shallow....enough not to reveal too much. My writings are inspired by my own experiences or they can reflect my thougths, moods and attitude at the time of writing. The great poet, Khalil Gibran defined poetry, he said: “Poetry is when an emotion has found its thought and the thought has found words” This statement is profound because that is exactly how i feel when i am writing, giving words to my thoughts, making them come alive.... I have a book titled "Tangled Emotions" a collection of poems due for publication by the ending of December and another (not poems) sometime next year. My poems are copyrighted, so if anyone use them, you will need to accredit me. I feel blessed to be on this site. i also have a website, poemsbycharm.com. A few of my poems are posted there but i have been tardy and have not done much work to the site recently, probably, busy is a better choice word to use.
