If you allow me to set a goal in writing, my hope that my words will encourage, lift up, enlighten, bring joy, reveal things

about my self as a fellow traveler on this planet.  My hope for your writing is that you will help me in all these ways too.  May your words and mine enrich our own souls and others.

Born with an interest in words, I have always found them to be a powerful part of one’s life. They can lift us up, and tear us down. They can build, and they can destroy. Words can encourage us, or they can stop us in our tracks. Words can put us on the right path or point to a dark end. Words can reveal the truth or they can hide the truth. Where does the lie end, and the truth begin? Words can be weapons or they can be tools to build our self worth.

 One must be careful about accepting words, or launching them into the lives of others. Some words fade away quickly, while others stick to the memory to add up to any defeat.
