Until the media journalist can properly delineate the difference between coincidence, correlation and cause their writings on serious social issues will commonly do more harm than good, driving once moderate citizens into extreme views that were once rare. New perspectives are necessary for societal evolution, yet only the philosophical, scientific and empathic approach will shine the kind of light that leads to peace and a positive future for all. The partisan approach will always take good solutions off the table and the intelligent leader would not permit such a thing when the health and welfare of so many is at stake. The ethical journalist would seek to undo such damage instead of perpetuate it... But this is what happens when we shine a light, it shows everyone's virtues and sins, yet if they can get over that embarrassment they have a real shot at full redemption.
